Team B returned to the hospital in the morning, with further attempts to provide sustainable teaching in various departments. A slightly less spicy guacamole lunch was complemented well by local doughnuts – deep fried, cake-ey and orange, what was not to like?

After lunch we were at the university putting the newly built obstetric/maternity ward through a (literal) dry run. Despite Shona’s impending ‘delivery’, there was no rush as PAL and Lira University staff sauntered though the new unit, seeing where improvements could be made.
